The Role:

We are currently seeking a full-time Resident Caretaker to provide services to a 62-unit community located in the Kitsilano/South Granville area. The ideal candidate would be suitable for a couple and could reside either on-site or off-site.

Responsibilities of Resident Caretaker:

  • Is accountable for all administrative tasks associated with the property’s administration, as specified by the Property Manager’s instructions and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other onsite personnel to guarantee that the Property maintains a high level of professionalism.
  • Manage the processes of bank deposits and move-in/move-out.
  • Working with maintenance and arranging and organizing vendors.
  • Assisting with modest repairs and cleaning the common areas and inside the units.
  • Perform modest plumbing repairs.
  • Lawn maintenance, weeding, and other fundamental landscaping tasks.
  • Supervise contractors and issue Purchase Orders for all work and/or supplies being performed at the building.
  • Generate comprehensive Incident Reports that pertain to accidents, altercations, and property damage, as well as other pertinent incidents.
  • Respond to emergencies on a 24-hour basis throughout the workweek.
  • Arrange and oversee the movement of individuals into and out of the building.
  • In accordance with the property, it is necessary to maintain precise files and records, which includes reviewing daily security reports and preparing a bi-weekly building report.
  • Train and supervise personnel responsible for providing attendant coverage.
  • Additional responsibilities may arise from time to time; available for emergency calls.

Qualifications for Resident Caretaker Jobs in Canada:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities

  • Proficiency in computer operations and the capacity to learn and adjust to new software
