Primary Purpose of Position:

• The maintenance activities of the Business Center are managed and directed.
• Continually enhance the reliability of equipment by establishing and executing maintenance and engineering objectives.
• Oversee and consistently enhance predictive and preventive maintenance systems.
• Oversee the maintenance personnel of the Business Center to ensure that the utilization of maintenance and engineering labor is consistently enhanced.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

• Drive the continuous enhancement of equipment reliability by implementing PM & TPM systems in the Business Center.
• In order to reduce the overall maintenance outage, it is imperative to continue the development of more efficient preventive and predictive systems. Examine downtime data and implement solutions to repetitive issues. Oversee the implementation of energy and environmental enhancements in the Business Center.
• Manage the schedules and workloads of the skilled trades’ associates to optimize labor utilization.
• Guarantee that the associates of expert trades are adequately trained.
• Drive solutions that reduce costs, such as labor, overtime, materials, contractors, and operating items, on an ongoing basis.

Education:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or a minimum of 10-15 years of experience in heavy industrial manufacturing.

Experience:

• Five years of industrial experience in engineering and maintenance management.
• Proven track record of overseeing continuous improvement initiatives, which include predictive and preventive maintenance systems.
• Experience in a union environment (as determined by the plant)

Skills:

• Capacity to oversee cross-functional teams in order to accomplish the reliability objectives, goals, and timeline of Business Center Equipment.
