Required Qualifications

• The individual must be at least 18 years old and possess the necessary education and/or experience to satisfy the principle competencies outlined in the job description.

Preferred Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma
• Vocational/Technical training/education in Instrument Specialist, Central Supply, or Surgical Technology, or experience in Sterile Processing

Licenses/Certifications

• Must satisfy at least one of the following criteria:
  • Certification from the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) within 18 months of employment
  • Certification as a Certified Registered Central Service Tech (CRCST) within 18 months of employment

Physical Demands

• Medium Work:
• Weightlifting Occasionally, up to 50 kilos. Frequently, up to 25 kilos.

Additional Job Description:

• 0.6 FTE (48 hours per 2-week pay period)
• 8-hour day shifts
• No weekends

Pay Range:

Pay Range: $21.53 to $27.54 per hour

The remuneration described is indicative of the base hourly pay range. The initial rate would be contingent upon a multitude of factors, such as your education, experience, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend, and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for specific periods or work.
