Position Details:
- Location: Ceduna, South Australia
- Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
- Roster: Shift work (fixed or rotating roster negotiable)
- Salary: $31.44 – $54.29 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
- Reporting to: Aged & Community Care Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide culturally sensitive, high-quality nursing care to elderly residents.
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments and develop care plans.
- Monitor residents’ health status and administer medications as prescribed.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records using [specific EHR software].
- Educate staff, residents, and families on health and safety practices.
- Mentor and supervise Enrolled Nurses and Care Support Workers.
Key Selection Criteria:
- Qualifications: Current registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled or Registered Nurse.
- Experience: Prior experience in Aged or Home Care highly regarded.
- Cultural Competency: Demonstrated understanding and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.
- Skills: Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Other Requirements:
- Current National Police Check and relevant screenings
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Evidence of current Flu and Covid-19 vaccinations
