A new opportunity has arisen for a Personal Care Assistant with experience to join our Home Care team in Alice Springs on a casual basis. As a casual, you will be expected to assist the team in ad hoc assignments as needed. This position is compensated at a rate of $32.50 to $35.01 per hour, contingent upon experience and qualifications, in addition to a 25% casual surcharge.

This position will require you to travel to the residences of individuals and perform in-home cleaning tasks. Additionally, you will be responsible for supporting specific clients during appointments, visits, and general care duties in accordance with their approved care plan.

In your capacity as the optimal candidate, you will possess prior experience in the field of Aged or Disability Care. You will possess a completely insured and dependable vehicle and will feel at ease traveling to the residences of our clients in order to provide our services. This position will involve a significant amount of domestic and janitorial responsibilities. In order to fulfill the responsibilities of this full-time position, you must be at ease with the assigned janitorial duties.

As the successful candidate, you will be kind and compassionate in your approach to our consumers and be understanding and supportive of their needs whilst, able to interpret and understand their care-plans and stick to the delegated services.
