The 32-bed adult inpatient ward at Newton Community Hospital provides intermediate care in a community setting for patients who require specialized care and support. Interventions from the nursing, medical, therapy, and social care disciplines are included in this care.

The incumbent will be expected to collaborate closely with other specialists from the multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care. Candidates must have prior experience with intermediate care in addition to their collaboration abilities.

  • This position necessitates an enhanced DBS that includes prohibited lists for both adults and minors.
  • Assist the nurse in charge in assigning direct care and domestic support responsibilities to other members of the nursing staff.
