Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that contribute to the health and safety of our Cast Members, including:

• Triage and Treatment: Assess Cast Members presenting with injuries or illnesses, identify whether the condition is work-related or not, and administer appropriate treatment.
• Medical Surveillance: Conduct mandatory health screenings and medical exams as required by OSHA and company policies.
• Vaccinations: Administer required immunizations under the guidance of physicians.
• Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, other nurses, and the Health Services leadership team to provide comprehensive care.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of treatments, medical history, and incident reports following OSHA and workers’ compensation standards.
• Safety Programs: Assist in health and safety initiatives throughout the Resort, ensuring compliance with all workplace safety regulations.

Qualifications:

To be eligible for this position, you must meet the following criteria:

• A valid California RN license and current CPR certification.

• Ability to perform all essential physical tasks, including lifting up to 25 pounds and standing for long periods.
• Physical stamina to handle the demands of the role, such as standing, lifting, crouching, and assisting patients in various positions.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) is required; a Master’s degree or certification in occupational health nursing (COHN/COHN-S) is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in fast-paced healthcare settings, such as emergency departments, urgent care clinics, or occupational health.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs).
• Experience working with workers’ compensation or occupational health nursing.
