Job Details:
- Position: Personal Care Assistant (Self-Employed)
- Employment Type: Part-time (2 hours/day, 6 days a week)
- Pay Rate:
- Weekdays: Up to £16/hour
- Weekends: £20/hour
- Bank Holidays: £23/hour
- Schedule: Flexible, to be agreed upon
- Contract: Subject to a three-month probationary period
Key Responsibilities:
- Personal Care: Assisting with eating, drinking, toileting, and hygiene.
- Activity Supervision: Encouraging and engaging the client in activities such as walks, puzzles, coloring, and social interactions to reduce anxiety and restlessness.
- Household Assistance: Helping with light cleaning and organization related to care duties.
- Safety & Supervision: Ensuring a secure and stable environment for the client at all times.
Essential Requirements:
- Gender-Specific Role: Female candidates only due to personal care requirements.
- Self-Employment Status: Must be able to invoice the client directly.
- Legal Requirements: Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check (funded by employer).
