An accredited university with approval from the SASW/CASW or CASWE is required for this position, as well as a Human Service Degree* and relevant related experience, a Social Work Certificate and relevant related experience, or a Bachelor of Social Work or Bachelor of Indigenous Social Work. The evaluation of all out-of-country education for Canadian equivalency accreditation is mandatory.
- In addition to relevant related work experience, Human Service Degrees require a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and/or Psychology, Education, Human Justice, Indigenous Studies, or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing.
- Transporting juveniles (or their parents) in the delivery of services, working flexible hours that may include evenings and weekends, and traveling will be necessary for the successful candidate.
